WPT's YOUNG GUNS OF POKER Showcases Poker’s Rising Stars Destined To Rule The Felt.
Meet the newest faces poker has attracted...young, betting brave and building bankrolls! WORLD POKER TOUR: "YOUNG GUNS OF POKER", premiering Wednesday, August 31 at 9 PM (ET/PT) on the Travel Channel, draws together 6 of poker's best and brightest to face-off in a battle of skill and luck. All under the age of 30, these young guns have been setting the poker world on fire. Players include law-student-turned-poker-shark Joe Cassidy, 25; East Coast prodigy John D'Agostino, 22; Scott Fischman, 24, named one of the top ten players by Card Player Magazine; Thomas "Thunder" Keller, 24, WPT Boot Camp Instructor; Pete Lawson, 24, nicknamed "Pac Man" for his non-stop talking; and David Williams, 24, often called "The Future of Poker."
With plenty of fast action and big bets, it seems no one has told these players that poker takes a lifetime to master. These young guns know the stakes are high, and the bragging rights even higher, as they navigate the cards, chips and each other, with the hopes of coming out on top.
