Late Night Poker Ace tournament at Party Poker to find the best amateur player in the UK.
The finals of the Late Night Poker Ace tournament will be filmed and broadcasted on Channel 4. The winner will get £50,000 or a life style make over and total prize pool is £100,000. ‘Lifestyle Package' worth £50,000 Porsche for a year, complete makeover, shopping spree, luxury holiday, £4,000 in cash, £25,000 ‘Buy-in Fund' for major tournaments including the PartyPoker.com Million. Late Night Poker Ace is a tournament open to amateur players only - that's is, players who do not make a living from playing poker.42 people will be selected from qualifying stages on Party Poker room. The qualifying starts this Wednesday and takes place every Wednesday for six weeks (18 May - 22 June, 2005). Only UK residents are allowed in the finals. The last qualifying will be on the 22nd June, so the campaign ends on the 20th June 2005. This will be the last day to accept players.
Semi-final: 29 June
The online semi-final involving 25 qualifiers from each free roll tournament, all together 150 qualifiers. The tournament starts at 7.50 PM.
TV Tournament: 20 July - 24 July
The PartyPoker's Late Night Poker Ace tournament takes place in Cardiff and will be filmed for broadcast on Channel 4. 42 finalists will compete for the big prizes.
If you become a depositing player on Party Poker room now, you will be able to participate in a special qualifier tournament for free. If you are among the top 25 players in this tournament you will be entered into the semi-final tournament. In the semi-finals, 150 winners from the qualifiers will compete for the privilege of playing in the televised finals. 42 of these will move on and fight for the title of Poker Ace.
