College Poker Championships In October - KickAss Freeroll And Regional Qualifiers On Tuesdays And Sundays.

When students return to their dorms this semester, there are a few "need-to-have" items packed into that bag. No prize for guessing it is an iPod or even the PSP... but when you hear the silence in the dorms at night, you realize the uber-cool item is a deck of cards.

CollegePoker.com is the place where students hangout on Tuesdays and Sundays when they play the KickAss Freeroll and the Regional Qualifiers. With $200,000 in cash scholarships up for grabs (NO purchase is even required) it does not take an Accounting Major to see that it all adds up to great fun.

KickAss Freeroll Tournament
Every Tuesday from September 13th, 2005 to May 9th, 2006, College Poker Championship gives away $1,000 in scholarship awards in the KickAss Freeroll. The Freeroll starts at 6 PM Eastern Standard Time.

Regional Qualifiers
Sunday Night is Poker Night! School against school! Region against Region! It is war on the tables... Only the best of the best will reach the final 5% of the tournament. The Top 5% of each regional qualifier will progress to the Regional Final event. Regional Qualifiers will by held from September 11th, 2005 to May 7th, 2006.

Regional Final
Showing that you have the goods in this event will determine whether you represent the region in the Final Event on May 14th, 2006. There is one seat per region to the Final Event, so play your best game here! Prizes: $2,500 in Scholarship Awards AND 1 seat to the Final Event.

Final Event
This is the Table of Ten! Every region has a representative to play for the honor of their school and the region. The tournament will be held on June 16th - 18th, 2006. The prize pool is $135,000 in Scholarship Awards.

College Poker Championship is an online Texas Hold 'em No Limit poker tournament, open exclusively to registered college students. The winner can truly claim the title of "WORLD'S BEST COLLEGE POKER PLAYER 2006". With the explosion of online poker and the success of College Poker Championship I and II (2004 & 2005), it seems natural to hold a another tournament where poker-playing students from all colleges can come together and test their skills against each other, while competing for huge scholarship awards.
