- $10,000 entry into the Main Event (Event 39, no-limit texas hold'em, Friday, July 28 - Thursday, August 10, 2006.
- $3,000 for 15 nights hotel stay at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino from July 27 to August 11, 2006.
- $2,000 funded to your account for travel and spending money.
- $1000 entry into Event 40 (no-limit texas hold'em, Thursday, August 3, 2006, 11am).
- Entry into $200,000 Freeroll at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino (12noon, Saturday August 5th, 2006).
If you are not playing at 2006 WSOP Main Event, are invited to join in $200k Freeroll. This one-day event takes place at 12 Noon on Saturday, August 5th, 2006 at the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino (next to the Rio).
Players start with 5,000 free chips and can rebuy (once only) another 5000 chips for $50 at any time during the first hour - the $50 will go 100% to charity. At every starting table, there will be a featured Pro or Celebrity player. They will have a $2,000 bounty on their heads - knock this player out of the tournament and you'll get the money. This $2,000 Bounty is in addition to the $200k prize pool!
The prize pool will be paid out directly to players' online poker accounts and the bounties will be paid out in cash. The winner will take home $50k, second place finisher - $32k, third place - $21k,... top 50 players will get at least $500.
The World Series of Poker Main Event $15,000 prize package ("Package") consists of the $10,000 entry into the main event, $2,000 funded to player's account for travel and spending money, and $3,000 for 15 nights hotel stay at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino from July 27 to August 10, 2006, inclusive; departing on August 11, 2006. Inter Poker will also provide a $1,000 buy-in to a 'second chance' WSOP Event (Event 40) (assuming the player has been knocked out of the main event) and give entry to a $200,000 Freeroll tournament (assuming the player has been knocked out of the Main Event). You should be at least 21 years of age to participate in the World Series of Poker event and will be required to produce proof of age. The first Package won is non-transferable. Should a Winner win more than one Package, he/she will receive $15,000 into their poker account for each additional package won.
Players can win their WSOP seats in multiple InterPoker satellite tournaments. See Satellite Qualification Schedule on the picture below:
