Online Poker Site Absolute Poker Agrees to Promote World Poker Tour Event.
Absolute Poker signs agreement to promote the Third Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic tournament.Absolute Poker, one of the most popular and successful online poker sites, has signed an agreement with the immensely popular televised World Poker Tour (WPT) to actively promote the richest WPT event in history. This agreement allows Absolute Poker to offer daily satellite tournaments where players have the opportunity to win buy-in and travel and accommodation to the 3rd Annual Five-Star World Poker Classic.
The Five-Star World Poker Classic is the final World Poker Tour (WPT) event of the season, and will be held at the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas from April 4th through the 25th. With a main event buy-in of $25,500, the overall prize pool is estimated to exceed $8 million, with the 1st place finisher collecting a minimum $2 million prize.
Absolute Poker is hosting daily online poker satellite tournaments for as little as $5 that will send its' players to their weekly WPT Main Events. Players that win the main event will win not only the buy-in to the World Poker Tour (WPT) event, but money towards their airfare and accommodation. To participate, players simply need to download the free poker software and create a real money account and enter one of WPT satellites.
"The players that win seats at Absolute Poker will not only have a chance to win the most prestigious event in the World Poker Tour, but they will be very well taken care of.
